Customers all over purchase Coca Cola products every day, as it is one of largest beverage companies in the world. Coca Cola has a well established business model and visual identity in multiple international markets, carrying a popular reputation with their loyal customers. Our team selected Coca Cola to repackage after finding a common interest in wanting to further expand the visual identity of current Coke products. Studies show that about half of America’s population purchases and consumes approximately one soda daily. The most common form of soda packaging comes in a 12 to 24 count box. While current Coca Cola packaging is cost efficient, innovative, and recyclable, it can be somewhat large for college students, or those with less fridge space. Our objective was to minimize shelving and storage requirements but still providing an adequate serving size for the average consumer. We designed a 6 can box, with virtually all of the same features as a normal package, but with the ability to fit smoothly into fridges or coolers of any size. This box effectively stores 6 cans in smaller fridges, and the customer would be able to reuse it over and over with any canned drink product that fits.
