PROBLEM AND SOLUTION

Push provides an innovative solution for the consumers who live a fast-paced lifestyle, especially when
it comes to those who love burritos. The packaging that consumers find in their favorite supermarket is
normally made out of harmful plastics, which in some cases cannot be used in a microwave. This
packaging is not ecient, especially for the consumer that is always on the go and doesn’t have
enough time to use a plate or eat their meal at a proper table.

Push itself is very unique; it’s shape is a three-sided prism, which allows them to grab the burrito even
after being heated, without running the risk of burning their hands while handling the burrito. Furthermore,
the central area of the package consists of an accordion system that allows the package to
collapse upon itself. This innovation allows you to enjoy the burrito without having to remove it from
the package. This is perfect for the on-the-go commuting snacker.

This is not the only way in which Push can be used; it also permits the consumer to enjoy their burrito
in a more common but not less ecient way. This is possible by removing the retractable accordion
section and using remaining top section to cap the bottom of the burrito, ensuring all the contents stay
intact. The edges of this package have perforations that allow the ventilation of hot air when the burrito
is being heated, keeping it fresh and maintaining the characteristic flavor of Push burritos.

After the consumer has enjoyed a Push burrito, they can use the same package as a vessel to throw
away the content in a recycling bin. We worked hard to create a sustainable product and designed the
package to use 100% post-consumer recycled materials.

GRAPHIC

The branding designed for Push is focused towards a younger audience due to the fast-paced nature
of their lifestyles. Push has embraced this on-the-go attitude, which is reflected in the hand-drawn type
and illustrations. It has been designed from the ground-up for people who are constantly on the move.
A palette of bright colors is used to categorize the variety of flavors of Push burritos.

The purpose of this packaging is to provide a self-contained burrito eating experience, requiring only a
microwave. There is no need for plates or utensils to enjoy our Push burritos.

We set forth to solve the problems with both the design and engineering of single-serve burrito
packaging. We believe that this inventive burrito package solves the unique problems that consumers
and manufacturers currently have. Now go ahead and push it!
