Be my Valentine pack
We have taken up Coca-Cola's challenge#1 to redesign the 12pk Fridge pack and delivered a refreshed, ergonomic and usage focused design without compromising on the original design’s practicality.
Our package redistributes the 2×6 arrangement to two separate modules of 3×2 packages for a more balanced weight distribution. A handle was included at the top to allow for single hand handling. The sides were left open to minimize the paperboard sheet’s surface and
enhance product visibility, and a slotted sloping design holds the cans together to prevent spillage from the open sides. Creasing at the handle allows it to be folded when stacking the cartons for palletization.
The package can be split into two by tearing the perforation given on the top of the handle, which will make it easier to store in the fridge in different arrangements. Our design improves usability and appeal, while saving material up to 8% of the original 12pk design and still leaves plenty of room to include branding graphics. The manufacturing is simple and uses very little adhesives on small surfaces. Our package features valentine-themed graphics for the upcoming occasion. So this valentine, don't break hearts,
break a coke.
